I had strayed because I was trying to use up some old product. I went back to my old routine on my last washday (yesterday). I posted a message on the FB swap group and found someone in my town who bought all of it for 10 dollars, as I wanted to get rid of it! I had a lot more products when I started CG. For me, I prefer having less stuff and having to put my hair up in a bun or wear it down when it looks messy. I like all of these products, but sometimes they don't work out as planned and I get bad hair days. I'm going to try using up the Deva to get rid of it. Currently I have the Innersense line I use all the time, the mini Ouidad, the Giovanni foam and an almost empty Devacurl Deep Sea Repair. I really hate having a lot of products I don't use or dislike in my bathroom. Today I did an oil treatment with some argan oil and then washed my hair with Innersense and styled with IVolume and IHold.

I'm going to give it another shot but I'm so glad I didn't get the full size. I tried it on Sunday and it made my hair frizzy - which kind of defeats the entire purpose! It looked good for a few hours but then I started getting halo frizz and some undefined, dry looking curls. I just moved back to Europe and stopped by Ulta before catching my plane, so I picked up a mini of the Strong Hold Ouidac ACC gel.

I just wish I could give them to a wavy who may like them. I have several products that I seriously just hate. If it's something I really hate and won't work for my niece who has 3c curls, it sits in my bathroom begging to be used. If it's something I don't necessarily like, I'll mix it with a similar product that I do like to use it up. When it comes to product accumulation, if its something that I don't mind but probably won't repurchase, I'll just use it, I am not looking forward to detangling tonight. After I coaxed it to remember gravity being a thing, it was matted and twisted in on itself. Quite the amazing feat and I could totally dress up as the bride of Frankenstein for Halloween like that. This morning, my hair stayed up all by itself when I took it down. I don't like to detangle it wet unless I have conditioner in it so I threw it up in a pineapple. Let's just say my hair got soaked and windblown. like outside in it without a jacket or umbrella. So it really badly stormed yesterday evening, and I got caught in it. I may try trimming it myself sometime this week. I also desperately need a hair cut but seriously hate going to a stylist. I have it narrowed down to either the Burts Bees Pre shampoo avocado treatment that I'm trying to use up or the newest clarifying shampoo I bought which has a water soluble silicone (the irony if this is what caused it). I will resort to my saviour Neutrogena Anti Residue shampoo Friday or Saturday and finally get rid of whatever this is. Today is second day hair and it looks better than day, but it's super dry and twisting in on itself. Day 1 was oddly frizzy in an erratic sort of way. Rinsing it out, I still noticed I have that weird build up. I like the Masque but won't repurchase it's the only dc I've ever tried that I have to wash it all out of it leaves my hair feeling strange when dry. Then I deep conditioned with the last of my Shea Moisture Yucca and Plantain Anti Breakage Masque. I still have build up from something and tried my Shea Moisture JBCO clarifying shampoo to see if a low poo would remove the build up. Sometimes I think my hair looks bad while wet and turns out as normal when dry.
